Crinoline for Outfit Two

Finished crinoline made from wooden hoops, string, chain, hosepipe and wire. It sways when one walks with it on and is light enough not to hurt your hips.

A Metal Waistband

A copper waistband for outfit one of the FMP. It will be able to open and close via a mechanism similar to a hook and eye used in sewing, except made out of metal. There will be two metal pipes attached, going over the shoulders of the wearer.

Crinoline Circles

Circles cut out with a jigsaw and attached with string. Intended for a crinolinesque skirt for my catwalk show.

Back of the Tie Wrap Vest

Start of the back of the tie wrap vest. Need to figure out how to a) join the two together, and b) make it so it can be taken off and on.

Sampling for a Skirt

Deciding which shapes to use for a slitted skirt for my FMP. Made from polypropylene and tie wraps.

Observational Drawings for Aisle Fifteen

With a ground made of oil paint and collaged paper from the V&A site map.

Both drawn observing lingerie in fine and bold Berol felt pens, respectively.

Finished Raised and Domed Vessels

Outer of the finished raised vessel, with the hammer marks left on and then polished on a polishing machine. Approx 8cm high and 4mm wide at the rim.

The domed vessel, approximately 4cm diameter.

The interior of the vessels, both finished by using a sandblasting machine and burnishing the edges.

Finished Glazed Clay Sample

Finished Clay Sample - unknown wash resulted in a purple tint, the glaze can be seen in the yellow rectangles on the piece.

Clay Experiments with Texture and Oxides

Previously made clay samples have been biscuit fired. Painted a mysterious oxide on as a wash, then sponged off with a wet cloth to highlight the texture present. Glaze applied in two small strips.

A series of experiments in clay - including imprints, scores and crosshatching, approximately 15" across.
